This came from a dream, or a memory or a vision, a vision of "who" is hard to say. I feel inclined to connect it with the book called Women Who Run with Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype an amazing read or listen.
After reading/listening to it I was much more accepting of myself as I age and my perspective on the "crone" has shifted to one of wonder and respect.
On that note, I must say that I am now more excited about approaching the "crone" stage of my life more than ever.
For me it marks a life lived, full of experiences, full of many deaths many endings and many beginnings. The "crone" has a life enriched by contrasting experiences and these have given the crone wisdom and influence that ripples into the ether and these ripples hold joy.
My idea of these ripples do at least.
I hope as you approach the "crone" era of your life that you feel free to embrace the magical potency of how much of a bad ass you are to be here now through all that you have began, created, ended and began again. Sending you much respect.
I am curious how this image will develop onto one of my encaustic art works.
